Clare Crochet Blankets New Website

We have recently launched a brand new ecommerce website for Clare Crochet Blankets, a small business from Staffordshire and fellow Theo Paphitis #SBS Winner.

We started the Clare Crochet Blankets project by designing a logo from scratch, drawn as a vectored image that allows it to be used at all sizes without the loss of quality when printed. many companies are only given a JPEG or PNG variation, saved to a specific size, and usually for use on the web and smaller business print stationary, but if you want to use it for anything bigger then you start to see pixelation. The bigger it goes the worse the pixelation becomes. With a vector file the quality is retained regardless of the size, so you can use it for absolutely any purpose safe in the knowledge that you will always portray a quality and professional image.

We then designed basic print stationary such as business cards, with files provided in a print-ready format, as well as in pre-saved variations such as JPEG, PNG and PDF.

A brand-new ecommerce website to sell quality hand-made crocheted blankets was also needed. We took a “less is more” approach, using lots of white space and bold focus points in order to draw visitor attention to new and popular products. The checkout process is simple, fast and efficient, and already customer feedback for Clare Crochet Blankets has been exceptional.

We have also provided the domain name registration, website hosting and SSL Certificate, and continue to provide regular website maintenance.

If you get a moment please take a look at the site HERE, and if you can, why not support this new small business and purchase an amazing hand-crotcheted blanket whilst you are there.

If you’d like to find out more about how we can help your business please get in touch and we’ll be happy to have a no-obligations chat.

Covid-19 Visors York Free Website

Covid-19 Visors York is a collective of 3D Print Makers and Material Suppliers, combined with an army of volunteer packers and distributors, creating protective visors for front line key workers in and around the York Area.

We recently became involved with this worthwhile project when we were asked to host, design and build a basic website to centralise the project around, including forms to offer assistance, ways to order visors and links to important crowd-funding information to assist with material and production costs.

There are lots of individuals and businesses that have been involved in this project. Many of the volunteers are self-employed, and likely to go out of business. They are offering equipment and time for free to protect our key workers in these difficult times. Their details can be found on the Covid-19 Visors York website. If you have a moment to spare please do take a look, and support the project in any way you can. Even if its just a share on Social media.

Whether you’re a shop assistant, teacher, cleaner, care worker, delivery driver or anyone working with the public during the pandemic, you can apply for your free safety visor.

We provided a domain name and designed and built the website completely free of charge, and continue to maintain it. The turnaround for this project was just two days, so the project team asked for it to be simple, clean, and clutter free. We did just that, and achieved the tight deadline ahead of what became a mass of media attention.

Wycon (UK) Ltd

We recently worked Wycon (UK) Ltd, a local Mezzanine Floor and Commercial Racking Specialist to re-develop their website that had been in service for a few years and was in need of a new lease of life.

As part of the project we also assisted with re-drawing their logo so that they had a high-quality vector file to be able to use for all of their future print requirements, and took over their email and website hosting to ensure a smoother and more reliable service. It also means that we can act as a one-stop-shop for them, and can react quickly to any requests that are made.

The new website includes interactive features, is intuitive, responsive to all devices, and is a solid foundation on which Wycon (UK) Ltd can develop over the coming weeks, months and years.
